Christmas has always been the peak season for hotels, and restaurant booking is a core battle ground. Seasonal promotions demand creativity that make hotel offerings stand out from the crowd.


We worked with local illustrators to design a social activation campaign targeting young families and couples, including simple but fun Facebook games, teaser videos and Christmas greeting videos, substantiated with Facebook & Instagram advertising.

The audience could online visit a magical snowy White Christmas Village, and played a web game “Catch the Santa” – site visitors had to ‘catch’ (by clicking) the Santa for a chance to win cash or discount coupons. Then they are directed to the main page for restaurant and festive room package booking.


The game has a festive buzz, and was really engaging, effectively collecting site traffic and contact data for re-targeting & re-marketing. The game successfully drew 1,000+ participation in 3 days, also gained 2,000+ Facebook engagement and grew 10% Facebook followers. Restaurants were fully booked within 2 weeks
